Polish apple harvest calendar 2025
When each variety is picked, packed and ready to ship — plan your retail program around the Polish season.
The Polish apple season runs from late August to the following August thanks to ULO controlled atmosphere storage. Knowing the harvest calendar helps you plan promotions, private-label runs and freight.
August
Early Gala harvest begins in the last week of August. First fresh-from-tree shipments leave Warka by early September.
September
Main Gala, Prince (Red Jonaprince) and Golden Delicious harvest. Peak loading season — ideal time to lock in volume contracts.
October
Red Delicious and late varieties enter ULO. Cold storage rooms are sealed for the long-storage program.
November – February
Peak ULO season — fruit at maximum firmness and Brix. Best window for premium retail programs.
March – June
Continued ULO out-of-store. Quality remains retail-grade with regular firmness checks.
July – August
Stock-out window for late storage varieties; pre-bookings open for the new season's Gala.
